Turning 30...

As of yesterday morning I had fulling intended on spending the day celebrating my 1st anniversary of my 29th birthday, that is until I found this note in the fridge...

I kept telling James that I did not want to turn 30, for some reason it just didn't seem right to be out of my twenties. But then after seeing the sweet note (and many others scattered around the house!) I began to think back at my twenties...

- I graduated college with a Bachelor's degree in just 4 years!
- Got my dream job teaching Kindergarten in Brighton!
- Bought my 1st house!
- Saw love and happiness as my brother got married and started a family!
- Met and married the most amazing man!
- Experienced living in 3 different states...Colorado is still my favorite!
- Became pregnant with our Little Lyle!

What more could I possibly ask for to need another year in my twenties?! NOTHING! Life is just perfect the way it is! I am so excited to start this new decade in life and see what amazing things I will accomplish by time I am 40...now that seems old ;-)

A glance at turning 30 years old...

**26 weeks 5 days pregnant with Little Lyle**

Our dear friends Kim and Andrew came up for dinner on Sunday. I am 26 weeks pregnant and she is 19 weeks pregnant with TWINS! It is so fun to go through our 1st pregnancy together :-)

For dinner I got to pick a restaurant...since we are fairly new to Cheyenne I leaned on google for recommendations and came upon a name that sounded familiar, Sanford's...one my Dad had mentioned many times and told us we just HAD to try and with 5 star ratings who could resist!!

The menu was huge and several pages long...they had funny names like "Liar Liar", "Easy Cheesy", "Atom Bomb".

For an appetizer we had Fried Pickles (a favorite of ours!) and surprisingly it came with 2 dipping sauces Cajun Ranch and Peanut Butter...don't knock it 'til you have tried it (it was this pregnant ladies dream!)

Fat Tuesday Chicken Melt and Garlic Parmesan Fries....YUMMY!!!

They brought out a dinner-sized plate of ice cream on top of a cookie and sang me Happy Birthday...always nice to be embarrassed :-)

The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was great...antique sports, kids, country paraphernalia everywhere! The prices were reasonable too! We highly recommend stopping by when in town...we will even go with you (hint, hint)! Or there is one in Ft. Collins and several other locations in Wyoming.

Thank you James for helping me ease into my thirties!! I love you!
