June 19th
I have waited 365 days for June 19th to come back around...nervous and anxious about how I would feel. June 19th will always hold a special place in my heart. It was on June 19, 2012 that James and I said goodbye to our 1st baby. It was the hardest day of my life and June 19, 2013 proved to be a very difficult day as well. I kept myself busy by cleaning and grocery shopping. God also knew it was going to be a hard day, so he blessed us with a special afternoon. See, fast forward one year...365 days...James and I are 36 weeks pregnant with our 2nd baby! And on June 19, 2013 we were able to see our little one on ultrasound, growing bigger and stronger each day!! To see it's heart beating and hear it on the doppler was an overwhelming feeling. Baby Lyle will be here shortly and I cannot wait to snuggle him/her in my arms. James said it perfectly in an email to me yesterday..."this little one will be extra special as s/he lives his/her life for two".

Maternity Photo shoot
James and I didn't do engagement photos and our wedding ones turned out terrible, so we decided to have maternity photos taken. We asked my cousin Jennifer who dabbles in photography to take some out at my Grandparents house (same place I did my senior photos). I am just over 35 weeks pregnant in the pictures. We spent about 2 1/2 hrs and ended up with over 300 pictures! I fell in love with all of them, but here are a few (okay a photo bomb) of my favorites...

Pure love!
He is going to be the GREATEST daddy!
Reading Lyle, Lyle Crocodile to Baby Lyle...love the pop of green!
Pictures at Grandpa's always have to include one of his antique cars!
Ummm...it is time!!!
So in love with my Grandparents!!
<3
Grandpa had to get in on the picture taking action too, then he went to tend to his beautiful garden.

30 days and counting!!
Baby Lyle's due date is just 30 short days away!!! Am I ready? Sure :-/
Emotionally and physically I cannot wait for our little one to arrive! I am so excited to see if we have a son or daughter that is going to change our lives forever. My body feels like it has been taken over by an alien...each time Baby moves I try to decipher what body part it is. I am getting pretty good at it thanks to the constant hiccups guiding me to where the head is located. At today's appointment we found out that Baby is not positioned correctly, so next week we have another ultrasound to see if a C-section will be need....please pray that Baby turns head down!!!! HG has come back with a vengeance, so I have upped my meds again and it seems to be helping with the nausea...but the only true cure is having the baby!
As far as the nursery and house being ready...nope! While we have everything we need...diapers, wipes, carseat, crib, clothes, etc...we don't quite have it all organized yet. My dad is making our dresser and shelves, so until then everything is placed in baskets and in the closet. It works, but just not 100% ready for Baby. I spent the day yesterday cleaning and ironing (seriously who irons baby clothes?!)...the ity bity clothes and blankets are so cute. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that we will be using all that stuff in just a few short weeks!
I feel so incredibly blessed to have made it 35 weeks (almost 36 weeks), but now I am ready for the pregnancy to be over! I am sure there will be times where I miss being pregnant, but the end result will be so much better!!
