Nathan's Baptism

James and I knew before Nathan was born that we wanted our little one to be baptized at St. Augustine...the church I did all my sacraments at, where James was confirmed and where we were married. It holds a special place in our hearts. We also wanted Fr. Humberto to be apart of Nathan's big day!! Grandma and Grandpa Lyle flew out for the long weekend to meet Nathan and to be at the baptism. Nathan wore Grandpa Lyle's baptismal garment from when he was baptized as an infant...a very meaningful outfit. Nathan however was not in the best of moods, so we have no good pictures.

 

 

The baptism was held during the normal 5 o'clock mass so that we could share with the congregation. Nathan did great and didn't even cry when the water was poured over his head...much to Father's dismay :-)

 

**Pictures are small since we used phones instead of a camera to take pictures in the church.

 

 

After mass we went back to my parents house and celebrated with friends and family!! So happy to have Nathan apart of the Catholic Church!
